What type of Health Precinct Is Genesis
We are a multidisciplinary center with a focus on occupational and industrial health specialising in injury management, return-to-work and workplace health for employees.
Do Genesis Dcotors accept Health Insurance?
At Genesis Health Precinct, all our doctors accept health insurance. Whether you are an overseas visitor with health insurance or have been involved with a work injury or car accident, our doctors accept health insurance. In most instances we do not charge a gap.
Do Non-GP Specialist Bulk Bill at Genesiss
At Genesis, we are committed to providing best possible health services. Our Non-GP specialists see a large number of patients and a gap does apply.
I was injured at work — what should I bring?
Please bring:
Employer details
Claim number (if available)
Any incident reports
Your insurer information
Will I be forced back to work before I'm Ready
No. You will not be forced back to work before it is medically appropriate.
Our primary responsibility is your safe recovery. Any recommendation about work is based on:
Your diagnosis
Your level of pain and function
Clinical examination findings
Psychological wellbeing
Risk of further injury
However, we do support early suitable duties where appropriate, because strong medical evidence shows significant benefits with early return to work when medically appropriate.
